In late 2019 I made a list for books I absolutely planned to get to in 2020.

I had 16 books that I bought in 2019 that I hadn’t gotten to – of those I have 13 left and then another 16 left from 2020 … This is not going well.

But in other news, my tsundoku skills are strong.

Of the three authors I mentioned I wanted to get to in 2020, I managed one. I still have Bishop and Rothfuss left. Will 2021 be the year? Who knows? Will 2021 be the year Rothfuss finish the third Kingslayer book? Will 2021 be the year Martin finish Winds of Winter? No one knows.

I hesitate to put together a list of books I will get to in 2021 – most likely if I make one I will have every intention of following it and then by February I will instead do a full re-read of K.J. Charles’ entire bibliography.

I feel like this is the list I’ll make for this year.
