August was a bit of a dud. Only two books finished – even though one of them was actually 5 in a bundle. Hoping September will pick up a bit but I’m not betting on it. I’ve eased back into sewing again and my kid wants a skirt made.
Band Sinister by K.J. Charles – yes another K.J. re-read. What can I say? They’re comfort reading by now. I reviewed this back in 2018 when it was released.
SPECTR 2 by Jordan L. Hawk is an urban fantasy supernatural series of novelettes. It features SPECTR Agent John Starkweather, his boyfriend Caleb and the demon spirit, sorry, drakul spirit Gray, possessing Caleb. This second series was more to my liking. I read the first series in 2018 and felt it was a bit Meh compared to Widdershins, but this second series was very entertaining. There are 4 books released in the third series but I think I’ll hold off on those until it’s complete.
